Default Recovery Tank Sight Glass

The glass in my sight glass is broken and I’m trying to replace it. Looking on the Internet I’ve come up with Superior Cooling that has em for $18 + shipping and shipping is $18 also. I questioned that cost and they said it would be that for 1 or 20. I checked with busparts.com and they’ve had em ordered since March. Anyone have and idea? What I searched for was Part #RW0009-9.

Five years ago Parliament broke mine and replaced it with a better one that did not stick out so much. I don't know the p/n but they either had it in stock or got it locally. Knowing the pipe thread size, you could try NAPA, or call Dan Hartley who has all the former Parliament inventory.

I went to a Freightliner dealer and they had a flat one but although that would normally be better I’ve rearranged mine and I need one that stick out.

There's an e-bay seller that has one for $23.95 with free shipping https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Radiato...-/282751058858

They are tougher to find than one may think. I had to go to a rad shop for mine and paid about $25 for it.

What that tells you is that most of the charge is for handling, and they have very inefficient handling for small shipments.
