Default New to Wanderlodge

I'm thinking about buying my 1 st RV, something like an 80's FC. I've renting a couple RV's in the past for 10 day trips , but that's the extent of my knowledge. Is a FC 33 or 35 beyond capacity for a 1st motorhome without alot RV knowledge? Would I be better off stating with a gas RV, learn and consider a Wanderlodge in the future? Heard and read alot about Wanderlodge and thought, why not start at the top! Thank you!

If you are going to learn about a coach there is no reason the learn about something else the change. Start with a bird. Lot of knowledge right here that you can tap into. Talk with Randy as he may have just the thing or point you in the right direction.

If you have rented other rvs you are familiar with the rv based systems. Wanderlodges have similar with usually more redundancy. With this forum available and a willingness to try your own maintenance I would recommend jumping right in to the deep end. The water is nice...I mean the support is here.

I just bought my FC 4 months ago...never owned an RV before. I was a little worried (ok a lot) about learning how the systems work, but I'm learning something new every day, and quickly becoming more confident that I can address most issues that may arise on the road, or at least know what to tell roadside assistance. I'm a pretty nervous / anxious guy - if I can do it, just about anyone can!
