Max,it all depends on the body shop people, some of those guys are artist, they are good!
If you ever get any damage like that you need to shop around (on this forum, and others) to get the right people to fix the damage.
Getting the wrong people can be a disaster!

Thanks Randy,
thats why I haven't had it fixed yet. I am scared of the disaster happening to me. I dont know any body shop people I just covered the hole with some black duct tape. Since my bus is dark green, you can hardly see the damage unless you look hard.
My bus had an overheating problem that was causing me to think of selling it and sending the problem on down the road. Since I now believe the problem is fixed and we plan to keep the bus, I will get serious about finding a place that i trust to fix all the dings at once.

Max,
Like Randy said it’s all about finding a good shop to do the repair and I know there are many but I can speak for one. I had similar damage on the rear fiberglass bumper on my M380 when I purchased the coach. While I was at Parliament Coach for service I had the body shop there repair the damage. I was nervous about the outcome but I can now say with confidence that the repair is perfect. Even knowing where the repair was made I can not see any evidence that there was ever damage there and the paint match is perfect.

Yep! I’ve been flying under the radar with my new coach with only a change in my signature. I’ll start a new thread regarding my resent purchase.

Default sort of the same topic....DAMAGED BMC

Just had an accident w/the coach and took out the passenger side headlight area and buckled the door/bent the hinge (see attachments). I have the major portion of the damaged fiberglass area.

Has anyone dealt w/a "good" shop here in the New England area? preferably eastern MA, southern NH.

Also wondering if replacement doors are available anywhere, or if doors from any other models/coaches will fit the '97 40' BMC? (in case the door cannot be saved)

Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.....

Thanks Randy....just spoke to Stephen B. who said he had his door repaired by a shop in Ontario, and it came out excellent. It is about a 7+ hour drive though....

I have the unbroken headlight assembly, and most of the surrounding fiberglass, except the 8" triangular chunk out of the generator "door".

Let me see what the 1st shop, and the appraiser have to say. If I need those pieces I'll let you know. Much appreciated for the quick response!
