Early morning walks may help, but this may not be the week to diet

Heres my take for what its worth on having a seminar on how to post pics or search on wog.

And remember,i don't know as much as most of you,and thats why my take may be important.

1-it all depends on what device you use,i think all are somewhat different.
apple,android,PC,Mac etc.

I have been posting pics for years AFTER Carol put them in my computer.
I could not put them in the computer (PC).
But the act of putting pics on my website and on wog and other sites was easy, once carol got them in the PC.

I went to one of Finns seminars on how to post pics and i got so confused i left the seminar.
His way was so different than my way.
Not saying he was wrong, just saying it was not the way i did it.

Now i have an Iphone and a Mac.
(no poiltics please!)
I learned to take pics in 2 minutes and they air drop to my Mac.
From there its easy to post the pics on wog.
So easy i can do it.
Even videos air drop over and i put them right into the dropbox.

Grasshopper was trying to show me how to post pics,he has an Iphone, but he does not use a computer at all.
He posts pics all the time.
But again,i was so confused in a short time (nano second) that i gave up.
It works well for him,but if you use a PC or something it will be different.

also, having a real techie guy try to teach you how to search or post pics may be a bad idea.
Reason is they may skip something very important to a novice (Me) thats old hat to them.
I leave out steps all the time while trying to give help on air bags or something, stuff that looks obvious to me,but not to someone who has never done it.

So,i do think we need to hold a seminar on searching and on pics, but we need a novice to show us how they do it.
Like Grasshopper could show how he does it from a Iphone.

But what would have to happen is everyone attending needs to bring their device to the party.

We had a member here that complained all the time that he could not post pics,i saw him come to 3-4 of Finns classes on posting pics, the same complainer came without his laptop everytime.
He never did learn and never will.

Now,on searching the wog.
The way i do it is by name and item.
Like if i'm needing info on a PT throttle or CC i search using Shane,pt40 throttle.
Using Shane narrows down the search, and hes the man when it comes to that stuff, and hes posted about it.

If i want to know about waxing batteries i search Ron Ruckwald, battery wax.
(sorry Ron!!) Thats an inside joke, some of you will get it.

Even if your a newbie and you don't know that Shane has history on the pt air throttle,if you do a search he will show up,many times.

You will learn who to follow on your model coach.
Or your model engine,trans,etc.

So,bring your device, find a table and you guys sit down and brain storm.
Mac guys at one table, phone guys at another etc.
PC's at another.

Do all the spots even something that a pull behind can fit in get booked? Or are ther generally some open spots for those in the woods. If not what is the next closest campgrounds?

It's been my experience that there are always some unfortunate cancellations and some spots are empty at the rally . So if you plan to come , a spot might just open last minute . I'm sure Kip knows of good nearby campgrounds too .

Thanks, We are booked. But my daughter is thinking about swinging down that way before she heads back west. It would be nice if she could be in the same park. But don’t want to book her anything until we know the plan for sure.

She will be here today from out west so hopefully we can finalize the plan. I have not told her you volunteered us for the dog costume contest.

For those Non-RV campers that are thinking of attending Pine Mountain also has yerts and new Glamping tents. The glamping tents look pretty nice with A/C and bathrooms. Also the town of Pine Mountain is right outside the campground with multiple hotel choices including Calloway Gardens. FDR State park has RV sites but check the site size as I remember most are small.

If you wanted to know what WOG and the different models are, this is the place to be. Just looking? Fly into Atlanta, drive an hour south and come visit for the day

Now don't get me wrong, I fully believe Ron R. probably polished his batteries. Heck, he probably had some special cream developed. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Clint Summers chimed in with a quotation from Ron's book of secrets on how it should be properly done and on what schedule. However, that being said, I believe it was Rob Robinson who waxed his batteries.
