Five years ago when I was a Wannabe, my 1st call to Randy was about a BMC. Then I drove an M380 and the rest is history. Everything BB learned building the BMC and which has been mentioned above, was included in its direct descendent with no glitz and a few more “bells & whistles” (like slides).

the major stuff is the engine and generator exhaust does not go through the roof.
The other stuff is smaller, like maybe the generator can't be started from the bedroom.
Of course the BMC was just like the wanderlodge, you could order it anyway you wanted it.
In 95 you could get aquahot and the dash was fancy, same dash as a wanderlodge.
No goat rails, unless they were ordered.
Its hard to ever know the diff.
The tires are smaller and cheaper and the 8.3 has the power and the fuel mileage.
Its a great package.

M380 would be a nice choice... but well above my price range.

I should have! But this thought didn't even come around really until I drove a FC 1300 miles in two days. I'll have to peak in a few at WOG.

I love the fact my generator exhaust goes thru the roof. No risk of starting fires in dry grass.
No exhaust fumes blowing into my neighbors picnic next to me.
My engine exhaust is out the side. I agree there, don't like it going up thru a closet!

Glamping ;-) I was involved in the Boy Scouts in the 00s. We camped all over south Florida. One day, across the courtyard we see Escalades, Suburbans, Acura SUV etc. Big camp. We walk over and they had ACs in the side of their tents, powered by a (few) Honda super quite gens. We also caught a view of a Plasma TV in one tent. We called them 'Troop Beverly Hills' lol. Troop was out of Naples.
