Propane Tank "Refreshing"

Got my propane tank parts recently. Found an NOS 80% fill valve. Was hiding on a shelf at an RV Parts dealer in plain sight, with a Winnebago part number on it. Rest of it are things to screw into the tank, or close enough.

Couple of questions

• Paint peeling on the tank - repaint it silver? Or is black okay? It was painted black.
• The remaining regulators, one near the tank, one behind the fridge - lose them or keep? I'm replacing the original single stage regulator with this dual stage unit. Final stage takes it down to 11" WC.
