Winegard Travler Satellite Dish Parts

I have two Winegard Trav'ler DirecTV satellite dishes for PARTS. Both are inoperable, one is SWM one is the earlier version. I have a spare cable from the dish to the interior box and the box as well. If interested, you can pick up in NE Florida or I can take to WOG. But act fast, they are headed for the scrapper very soon.

Bobby before you scrap them I have one that needs one of the motors. I haven't looked at how hard it is to get out. Maybe we could make one good one if someone needs it

It's fiddley but doable. There is a lot going on inside and I'm not sure how you synch it once it's been apart. Honestly you can buy a working one cheap so not sure if it's worth fixing one. With more people dropping satellite and going streaming, these are not as popular as they once were.

Winegard stuff works well when it works, but a Google search will tell you lots of people have trouble with many of their products. For what these cost you would expect better.

No one wanted these so I gave them to the scrapper.

Yeah, it’s really unfortunate that there’s no reuse for this technology. I have a pretty pristine unit still on top of my M380 - obsolete HughesNet and DirecTV hardware still connected (PO ran his business from the road). Several small shops say they can update it to Dish, but why bother. Sad. Removing it hasn’t risen to the top of my list yet.

we gave up on sat dishes for tv.
We did get a Tmobile thing that works real well for TV and internet,some round thing made for homes,but it works well enough that we can get tv while moving down the road.
And way cheaper than sat subscriptions too.
