Dose it mater what model of AH one has for your controller to work? Do you know if it will work on an older 431/12?
Thanks guys.

I see no reason that it wouldn’t. It is just a genetic combustion control, there might be some changes in the wiring, but the functions are the same. It would also work for the M 380 Hurricane heater, the wiring would just be different.

Default Webasto Controller

There is a 12VDC controller made by Wayne that appears to be able to function with the Webasto boiler.

I have not tried this but it would be easier than mixing 12 VDC and 120VAC.

Lucas,

Come back when you have a price and wiring details for this unit. Yes it would be nice to not worry about combining ac and dc, but you still have to get into the wiring details and I could not easily find pricing and wiring. It would be great if you could supply details.

Default Aqua-Hot Controller

Jim, I am in the process of buying one of these and will wire it with a harness and plugs to directly replace the Webasto controller. I will follow up with pricing etc. when I get it to work.

That sounds great. Does it also provide ignition? That is what actually got Scott White and I thinking about another source, his igniter was bad and a new one was going to be over $400. The AC igniter was less than $50. F

Default Aqua-Hot Controller

It provides a 12VDC output for an igniter. The same company does make a 12VDC igniter that should work with the existing probes in the Webasto. Again I will follow up on this.
