Group buy - windshield gaskets for FC/PT, SP, WB and LX/LXI/M380/M450

Is there an update on the timeframe for FC gasket? Unlike Jimmy, not looking for a spare...have a cracked Windshield and don't want to replace with existing gaskets that I know from last replacement are a problem...

I'm in the same boat as you Dan. Can't believe it's taking this long especially if Randy provided a better gasket after the original one was a bust.

You guys are amazing.
On 4-10-2022 we went and pulled out a gasket from a parts bus.
The next day i shipped it to Dan.
figure 2 days later Dan gets the gasket.
so maybe by the 15th of May,dan has the gasket,then he shipped it somewhere to get a quote.
Figure they got it on the 20th? with luck?
Not knowing the rubber companys backlog i would guess they looked it over by the 25th?
Not knowing the size of the company or how many employees down they are and how many engineers have to get involved,lets say they were working on pricing by the 30th?

so all of those dates were assumptions.
so lets move the time line up to june the 15th.
So now we have been waiting in real time for 15 days? not counting weekends.


I don't even need a gasket for an FC or a PT or even for my 71SP,but i jumped through my *** to go find one,buy it,remove it and ship it.
Chap took time off from work,Mark B helped.
And you guys are impatient?

And not to mention Dan,did you 8 to 5 guys ever stop and think that he might be busy?
A one man operation,busting his *** daily to feed his family and find un-obtainium parts for you guys?
Did you think he had no other customers demanding something for their bus?

Did you guys ever hear of the great toilet paper pandemic?
That set the world back on employees and and raw material's?
Markus,why didn't you buy the gasket and windshields you found?

Wow Randy just wow.

Back on 5/9 Dan posted here that they were still waiting to be quoted, which means they had the gaskets in hand before that date. It's over 2 months now, not 15 days.

Could someone please bring me up to date on this thread. I have an FC that will need a right windshield. I am new around here so missed the original group purchase sign-up.

FC gaskets aren’t available, but will be at some point in the near future.

I talked to Dan yesterday about the FC/PT gaskets and hes in touch with the maker of the part but they have the same problem everyone else in the country has.

I get it,two days ago i went to get Tshirts and hats made for the WOG rally.
The local Tshirt place is great,they are right down the street and the girl that works with us is awesome.
The owners of the place are people we see all the time and they are awesome too.
Anyway,they can't get help either and when we were trying to get tshirts everybody was out of large,xlarge and xx large.
we want a good strong shirt,not something as thin as panty hose and of course we need the man size stuff.
We searched for 2 hours (well,she did) and none of her suppliers could get the size we needed.
We ran into that with her just a week ago when we were making unrelated to wog shirts and i sourced the shirts from duluth trading.
After heidi could not find us anything we came home and searched,we bought some button up shirts from Sams and finally found some T's though duluth trading.
Colors were the next problem,hope all you xx men like pink!! (just kidding)!
My point is,we want a custom part and we can't even buy t shirts.
Ohh,we could get the shirts in carhartt brand and we have before,before we could get carhartts and print them and sell them cheaper than Tractor supply could sell them.(20 bucks)
Carhartt t's are now $36 each with no printing.
Printing is $5 per shirt,so we would have to get 45 to 50 bucks to make any money for the WOG and who is going to buy a 50 dollar t shirt?

OK,back to the gaskets,Dan is working the problem,hang with him,hes doing all he can.
