If you are looking for parts for the Marathon pancake head on the back of your Powertech Generator.
You will need the serial number.
It is stamped in to the top of the can (round generator body)
It is located under the Junction box mounted by Powertech that contains the wiring, breaker and regulator.
I had to remove the junction box to find it

I would call Tom. He's full of information and has offered us to call and chat anytime. Plus if you need a new unit, the central generator has been used here and I believe quite a bit less expensive than the powertech

Well the generator saga finally comes to an end.
John Edwards Generator service in Fort Wayne IN was fantastic!
We trouble shot the system.
Pulled the generator out.
Found a broken Diode Recifier board.
He resoldered it back together replaced broken ends, bolts and standoffs.
Put it all back together and installed it.
We are up and running and the bill was under 1K
So if you're anywhere around Indiana he's the man to call

SOMETHING NEW BREAKS EVRYDAY!
I thought the generator saga was over. Nope just changed.
After getting the generator out, repaired, and back in and tested.
I worked great TWICE!
Then the engine died. When we were testing it we had a **** of a time getting it to prime. The priming lever on the lift pump didn't do anything so we primed it with vacumn pump.
So I ordered a new Lift pump and installed it when I was up visiting Mack in Marshall MI. When we pulled it out the Throttle lever was broken off. I have ordered parts from Dixie Diesel in Columbia TN. When you order parts you need to find an Industrial Kubota Dealer and you will need the serial number for your engine. Powertech doesn't have any engine parts. you need to order parts from the same state that you want them delivered to, As Mack's MI dealer could not ship to where I was going to in TN (territiries)

I also noticed that the Oil preasure was pegged to the top. Again we tested it and it is the sensor. Again I called Powertech and the parts girl said that for BBs the sensor and gauge was provided by BB. They are TELEFREX gauges.
Does anyone have the part numbers before I have to rip my upper consol apart?

BTW if you're up in MI (in the summer) stop by and visit Mack and Brandi. They are great people and great cooks

I'm not sure who is telling you this B.S. but it isn't true. I have owned a Kubota for the last 20 years and I have purchased many Kubota parts from Messicks out of Pennsylvania. So you may want to try them if you like. https://www.messicks.com
