interesting....thereby preserving the existing flange seal to the roof, and not having to deal with above-mentioned extra holes. Of course this would eliminate one of the parts someone out there may be in the market for if I wanted to sell the Kool parts.

does anyone know how many amps are drawn from the original fan vice a "NAPA" or other replacement that would fit in place... I thought it was posted here but I cant find it... thanks in advance

The original “Fasco” motor in my Kool-O-matic draws a little over 6 Amps on high speed.

The NAPA #655-2012 motor that I tried as a replacement drew over 16 Amps on high speed.

Saw this on ebay and was wondering if it's the Kool-O-Matic fan motor. I searched WOG for the part numbers and found nothing.

I bought a new Fasco 12V Fan Motor 2807-513-100 Blue Bird Wanderlodge from Terri Roberts via ebay this morning for my Kool a matic... pics aren't the same... I think she had the only one... I spoke with her after the sale and she confirmed the order... Very pleasant lady to speak with... I plan on having George Morris change it out next week and have the old one rebuilt... maybe it will be worth something to someone.

UPDATE... the FASCO motor I ordered from Terri Roberts came post haste... problem was it was a bad motor... over heated in a nano second... I called Terri and explained the problem... WHAT A NICE LADY... I took the new motor to an electric shop that George Morris recommended as well as the old motor... they confirmed the new motor was bad, but they could repair the old one... relayed this to Terri and she was very sorry and said because it was a new motor just send it back and she would refund my money... this was done and all is well... she has a lot of parts as been mentioned on this site before... a great lady to do business with... Thanks Terri... keep her in mind if you need parts.

I may have located a company which has a cross/replacement for the Fasco motor 2807-513-106 120-0228072 used in the KOOL-O-MATIC kitchen vent systems.

The cross reference number is GR314 and the specs look the same as best I can determine from their catalog information.
The company is Harold AG & Mobile Products WWW.HECO.NET located in Walla Walla Washington. (800) 541-8910

May be worth checking out for those who need a motor.
