I bought a kit on Amazon with several of each size fitting in a plastic case. It came with a cutter and some short pieces of several different ID hose as well. Nice little box to have on hand.

A few weeks ago, I was headed back home from Houghton, MI in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Its about 500 miles. As I get about 75 miles from Houghton, I hear a massive air leak under my seat. My seat bottoms out and I ask the wife for a couch pillow to sit on as I try to find a place to pull over. Once I get to an empty parking lot, I notice my step is already extended so the aux tank had lost most of its pressure. What happened was the line that goes to the height adjuster valve on seat split open. I think it may have worn on the mechanism somehow. Anyway, a cutter and connector was a handy item to get her back on the road.

I was looking for just such a kit today without success. Put that out here if you find it again...

Could one of you enlighten this Newbie as to exactly what this "purge valve" does? Some have said disconnect it so is it's function optional?

And if the valve leaks and air pressure is down and the water system is in service, it fills your air system with water.

Disconnect it.

A 3 dollar Schrader valve hose connector screwed into the fresh water inlet and a small or shop compressor blows out the water lines too including the city water connection.

YES, YES,
please disconnect the air system line from the domestic water system, bad things can happen. There is also an air solenoid and a regulator that can be removed, Then follow the Dave Clueless tips

I just looked at my Amazon history and it wasn't there. I must have bought them somewhere else. I might have been Kimball Midwest.

Thanks. I found the same thing about an hour ago. Good to know!

I just got four MJTV-4s in an eBay auction, since I only need two, I may use one as an aux switch for the water purge. Probably overkill but it's one way to keep air isolated from the water system without permanently disabling it.
