To date I have been hauled 4 times, 3 times I called Good Sam and once the CAT house footed the bill. Total cost to GS was $3300 for the 3 time they paid for transport, I think it is well worth the money! I don't know if there is a difference between Good Sam or Coach Net but I do believe both are contract call centers who answer the phone. Twice I had to find the transport company to haul me but GS paid 100% of the bill.

Have been towed once, had road service 4 times over the last 10 years or so.
All have been positive experiences - - looking back!! Also used it on cars a couple/few times.
Just added GS Roadside Assistance to our tool kit even though we have similar coverage for the coach only with the RV insurance from Progressive Explorer.

Several reasons for us to do this.

No need to cover two passenger cars with AAA. In addition to the coach, GS covers all passenger vehicles owned by named members. This alone is more than offsetting to the annual GS Roadside Assistance cost.

Also, can purchase up to 8 years (1,3, 5, 8) @ $79.95/year. Was told annual renewal rate is increasing to $112 next year. Premium is refundable at any time (prorated of course). Seemed like a no brainer. Went with three year deal.

Me too. Just like the spare tire on the roof. It its there, you probably won't need it, but , don't leave home without it!
