Default Power for the jacks

Ok I went through all the drawings I have and can not tell where the power for the jacks is coming from. When I mean power I'm referring to the "trigger" voltage that goes through the micro switch at the levers.
I do get some lights on the dash when the master is turned on but no voltage to the micro switch. Anybody have an idea on an 82 PT where this voltage is coming from?......... I'm new to this world but HOLY CIRCUIT BREAKERS BATMAN!! they're everywhere.

It's amazing what happens when you back probe the connectors correctly.
It turns out I had voltage. The wire was severed going across the frame near the front axle. New wire = Jacks working = Happy John.

Glad it was something simple. Unfortunately too many examples of severed wires on these busses, luckily, yours didn't end up in a "toasted" fashion!

You have several load centres in your bus. Pre 84's are different I believe than the rest. 84 was a major change if I remember correctly. Ed can tell us as he has a 84 and a 82 and will know the difference. At the rear, in the overhead on Passenger side and also Drivers side there are load centres and there is one more as well but can't remember right now. Total of 4 I think.

You are quite correct...HOLY Circuit Breakers Batman! We may need Captain Avenger too! BB is known for not being the most organized with their wires. I find this strange as they took no chances in other areas and this was the case for many years.

Maybe they always did wiring on Friday afternoons!
