I did get the hose and clamps on a few days ago,the hose was a touch small for the nipple and so i drove a big socket into the hose and let it sit for a day or so,stretch it out some.
Then it slid right one, brains over brawn wins everytime!
Carol had me doing honeydos all weekend,i did need to move stuff and mow, lucky me we have a new neighbor next door that has a HVAC company,he gets pallets in daily and he does not reuse them!
I sure do,and he told me to help myself,so now i have an endless supply of pallets to move my stuff around on and i don't have to drive a block down the street with the pickup to get them.
I just drive the forklift next door and drive back, sweet!

So the mowing is all done, the moving of junk is all done, maybe i can get back in the shop today and do a few things,maybe...

On the Cummins engine install i never did mount an air filter.
I did not have a housing i liked and i looked around quite a bit but never found something to use.
Well i found one from a bus with an 8.3 and yesterday i sanded it down and gave it a rattle can paint job and the same with the brackets.
I had all the rubber hoses to make it fit and i got it all mounted and i finally have an air filter,no more worrying about the little birds nesting in my turbo!

Maybe today i will get the battery chargers mounted,i'm trying to get thebus where i can at least drive it to the gas station and put some fuel in it.

How come all this little stuff takes so long to get done?

Air filter looks like my BMC filter except you have reversed the air flow compared to my BMC, and mine does not have a replaceable element. I have to replace the entire can!! What part number is yours?

Did you make it? That would be a nice mod for mine also!!

Yard Art looks nice.

My filter is replaceable too,i did not write the number down,it needs a new filter but i wanted to make sure it all worked out first.

Carols yard art is plasma cut,and she made the "veins" by unhooking the ground.
A plasma cutter will still "etch" the metal without the ground, but will not cut through.
Then she mig welded 1/4 rod to them and i mounted them to the posts.
Fence staples holds it all in place, some bending was required to get the right shape.
She directed the bending from the street.

Tell Carol for me they look nice.

Wow, a replaceable element air filter and housing would be nice. If you have another like filter housing I would buy it!!
