Unhappy Mauvelous is for sale: $45000 obo

After two loving years of faithful service we are giving up Mauvelous to a new home. I absolutely love this coach but we need a slide to give us full-timing room (and more stuff to break!). There is simply too much to list of all the things we have done since we took possession of her. If you search for 'the list' it is a fairly current listing of all the things needed when we bought her and the things left. She does need paint on both the front and rear caps as the clear coat is peeling off (after 25 years)... The rear bumper got bent and Randy had one for around $1500 but I never could get to FL to pick it up. We may take her to WOG if we still have her. She needs cosmetic work inside: couch needs upholstered and needs one new chair for the living area. Other than that all is good inside. All new LED lighting throughout except a few up front under the upper cabinets. I will list her on eBay when we buy our new coach. If someone on the list really wants her I will be negotiable - make an offer!
In the last two years: New coolant lines, air bags on rear (1 month ago), new tires all around (Michelins), new engine/starting batteries (3 months ago), new hoses and belts, new head gasket on engine. The dash a/c 'almost' works lol... I have gone through just about every connector in the front dash and outside access panel and cleaned it with a dremel tool (yes, it took forever) so the connections are good. Lots more I can't remember... oh yeah, 4 matching BB chairs with the leg extensions! New microwave/convection also!

We haven't decided yet but it is killing me to know I won't have bumpers, ladder, rooftop a/c (well, maybe not) ... I tried talking the wife into spending $300k on an M450 but no dice... Will miss my Bird ...

Looks like she met her reserve price. Quite a bit less than the asking price here.

Patience Gents, we've got 3 more days left... everyone will wait until the end to bid (hopefully) :-) And even at $40k they are getting a great deal... we worked on her today and cleaned her out along with deep cleaning the bathroom - she is so clean now it makes me want to keep her... nope, can't have two coaches! I keep telling myself that we are basically wholesaling the coach and should not really do any more to it but I keep wanting to get her to look really nice for the new owner. Makes me sad I let the front paint go but just did not have time to get it repainted... But what we did fix was fixed right and not short cut so I do have that to make me feel better about giving someone a really good coach. Of all the coaches I have owned Mauvelous is the only one I would recommend/sell to a friend (one that I wanted to keep as a friend)...

Still that is a pretty low reserve. It is a risk I wouldn't be willing to take. Hope it works out for you.

We are good with that price if it sticks but wifey would much rather have enough to buy tires for the new coach...
