Default Dash Gauge - LED Replacement

After having read a post from Iamflagman, on using LED lights BA9-WHP6 in his dash. I also to would like to replace the dimmer old style bulbs (which are turned on to their brightest) so that I may see my gauges better during the night. So my question is, do the 1999- 2000 Wanderlodge's use the same indicated Led Bulb as mentioned above and how many bulbs are used in each of the smaller diameter gauges (such as fuel gauge) and the large diameter gauges (such as the speedometer)? Iamflagman, also indicated that a BA9=WHP9 might be used in the larger diameter gauges. Has anyone else changed their dash lighting and how much brighter are their gauge illumination?
I'd open my dash and look myself but, I'm in central New York (Syracuse area) and have 'BOUT TIME in an enclosed storage for the winter and am not able to access the locked building till April. Can't wait till my wife retires and I can spend the winter months somewhere warm (and I don't have to winterize and deal with all the snow).
Thanks for the help!

I can't tell you if the bulbs you mentioned will fit your gauges but I can tell you the LED's I put in my 95 are incredible compared to the old filament type bulbs.
They can be too bright!!!! Highly recommended

Thanks Kurt! Do you recall the LED Bulbs part number you used ( your coach is much closer in year then Iamflagman) and if the Speedometer and Tack took two bulbs or only one?
Anyone else replaced there gauge bulbs that are closer to a 2000?

Gunner that's an interesting name, my parents once told me they considered that name but went with Kurt, anyway no I don't recall and seeing how your coach is interned for the winter I would guess we need to ask around the other owners of your vintage if they know. Unfortunately my gauges are undependable and I rely on the a SilverLeaf PC unit for all info, my speedo and tach only use one bulb and I don't recall if they were larger or not, sorry I couldn't be more help

Default Dimmer switch on dash controls brightness of dash lights at nite

Gunner, as I recall, there are 2 dimmer dials on the instrument panel. Don't look for rocker switchs. One controlled the intensity of the blue lights and the other the intensity of the 'white' lights.

I replaced my dash gauge lights with LEDs off ebay. Work great. Each gauge takes one bulb. The ones I purchased are no longer listed, but these are the same: http://www.ebay.com/itm/10pcs-BA9S-T...item257da44247

The speedo and tach, if I recall correctly, take a different bulb. Those above will not fit I believe.

Interesting, that is one thing I've not delved into a lot is the dash. Wow, those bulbs are cheaper than the originals ever were. Almost.

If they are too bright, how do you dim them?

Hi Ron. Yes, you are correct about the two dimmer rotary dials. It is, I would like all the dial illuminations to be a bit brighter, so I can more quickly see their status at a glance. As for your baby, she is being well cared for. At this time she has been winterized and is in a locked storage building to keep the large number of feet of snow off her roof and keep her dry. "Bout Time will see the light of day in April, until then she is locked behind doors. It bothers me not to be able to work on my To Do List and to see her. I'm waiting for the time that Roberta retires, which will be a couple more years. Then I won't be winterizing, but enjoy the warmth down along the southern states. In the mean time I'm purchasing and chasing down the small items that I would like to change out and have as spares. I hope that both of you are doing well and are happy in your travels, stay in touch. By the way I took and passed my "R" endorsement (any recreation vehicle weighing more then 26,000 pounds) for my New York Drivers license, which includes a parallel parking.
Brain, thanks for your reply and information. The Speedo and Tack is what I was questioning, if the you ever run across the type of bulbs that are used in those two let me know.
