1999 43' LXi Dual Slide For Sale $100K

1999 Blue Bird Wanderlodge 43’ LXi Dual Slide

This was Blue Bird's 1999 Show Coach and was purchased in March 1999 at the FMCA Convention by the original owner. It is 43' long and 8 1/2' wide. Bill Porter bought it in September of 2012 with 95,000 miles on it and put an additional 15,000 miles on it before he sold it to the third owner who only put 3K miles on it in 2 years. I purchased this coach in June of 2016 with 113K miles. It now has 120K miles. This coach sold new for a little less than one million dollars. It is an excellent coach for $100K.

It is powered by the 500 horsepower Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine and Allison HD4060 6 Speed World Transmission. It uses NO oil between oil changes. If driven at 60 mph it gets 7+ mpg.

The pictures do not do justice to the one of a kind paint job. The interior is in excellent condition. The quality and workmanship is second to none. The cabinets and doors are hardwood. The countertops, table tops, and window sills are Corian. Open any door and the interior light comes on. Same with the storage bay doors. The storage bays are also heated.

A 14' living room slide and a 7' bedroom slide provides a spacious environment.

Built for comfort and convenience. In addition to the large vanity and sink area there is a private toilet with another sink. 3 large closets, numerous storage cabinets and massive storage underneath. There is a lot of storage room so you should never came close to running out of room.

This LXi is factory equipped with every option that Blue Bird had to offer.

John and Neat Scott were the first owners. He now drives a Newell. Unusual double Zip Dee's on the curb side. A well maintained bus.

Yes, seems great.
New chassis batteries, new (date codes all 2017) Michelin tires, recent engine oil change, fresh engine coolant, recent generator service, all tools/spares/extras included with the coach including a torque wrench and torque multiplier for the lug nuts and a set of wooden ramps. The basement storage is completely full. It even has the original bedspread and pillows (matching the interior decor).
My wife and I are going to do an interior cleaning this afternoon after my grand-daughter's soccer match.
