The Shrader valve is under the engine hatch at the rear of the coach. Raise the hatch and look right above the bumper toward the curb side of the coach. It looks like a valve stem for a car tire. What you are seeing that deadheads into a bulkhead is the air chuck to attach an air hose to air up your tires or beach toys. The pressure switch for the steps is mounted on the inside edge of the step frame. At least that's where I've always found it.

The solenoid valve body is there on mine but the “furnas” pressure switch that makes the step retract when air gets low is what I can’t find. I want to check it for leaks since I already replaced a leaky one for my aux compressor

My step pressure switch is behind the lower electrical panel forward of the passenger seat.
The pressure protect valve I was talking about is t-ed off right at the schrader valve. It is a very small valve.

Perhaps coaches like mine without the bulk oil tank don’t have that PPV.

I think I’ve vindicated everything up to and including the PPV valve with the following test: I set the shop compressor to less than 65psi and the pressure held (no cycling of the shop compressor. Above 65psi the PPV opens to the air suspension and accessories, and then the shop compressor has to cycle over and over to maintain. So I think that means my new governor and new air dryer and all the tanks and their drains are OK. All the remaining leaking is in accessories and suspension.

In mine the major leaks were the PPV at the bulk oil fill, which I removed from the bus entirely, and a "T" in the air horn lines in the cabinet above the passenger windshield. There were lots of little leaks, but I replaced every cheap air fitting with DOT fittings and that did the trick. It's like an Easter Egg Hunt....

I don’t have bulk oil, but I guess I better open the cabinet above windshield- it would be pretty hard to hear a leak up there hissing.

There is also an air line that goes up to the side panel next to the passenger seat that goes to the control switch for the slide over the steps.

Thx,
Worst leak so far was a Tee at the bottom of the front curb wheel well. Now DOT. Where does the bouncy seat (ESRI) air route?
