Mine has the old dirty t-shirt feature in place of the fancier red solo cup. And yes, I went online to Menards and 2" is all the bigger they have in metal.

Kris, if you get a pair of cheap dial calipers you can measure the thread. Take the first one at the second thread from the end and then measure the diameter about 3/4" inward. If they are different, you have NPT. If they are the same you have the NPSH straight thread.

If the caps aren't vented, where does the tank pull air from? I imagine as it draws fuel down, it can't go too deep into vacuum or bad things would happen.

The tanks are vented with a vent assembly on top-with a rollover protection feature. The fuel cap lead plugs are fusible vents to open in case of fire. Standard NPSH 2-1/2" cap-procure from a fire equipment store.

As with most things Wanderlodge, the answers are already here. Finally someone validating what I measured - this thing is 2 3/4" ID.
https://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.c...ead.php?t=5475 Post #25 "It is one each Cap, bulk oil fill, non vented Part no. 1053461. I have never even taken it out of the plastic bag because it is too large for my filler tube. It looks like it is brass; measures about 2 3/4 inches I.D. and has Blue Bird Ft Valley GA embossed on it. There is a ridge across the top, less then 1/4 inch high. It has a chain attached to a pin inside the cap with a wedge spring that goes into the filler neck." I cannot find out what the ID of these fire hose caps are, but I suppose it's worth a try. More from post #22, at least this is a temporary solution: "I beleive you'll find the treads are normal pipe threads. In whatever diameter the pipe is. I lost the original cap off my 86 several years ago. I went to Home Depot, bought a threaded reducer that went from 2 1/2 inch downt to 2". Then I was able to just use a 2" PVC threaded plug as my new gas cap. PVC threaded plugs have a square end (used for a wrench if needed) and allows me to easily turn it by hand. Simple, cheap, and effective. and if I should have another "senior moment" and leave my cap at the fuel pump, it's no big deal to stop at Home Depot or Lowes and get another plastic cap."

If the cap for the bulk oil tank is the same as the fuel fill I have one I’d be happy to send you, I removed that system and still have everything. I’ll go out in a few and see if it fits.
