Might be nice to have till it causes a problem then jettison it.
jettison what?
The bird?

I believe he was referring to the airbags. Although, it sounds like he is trying to talk himself out of buying one, or wants someone else to talk him out of it.

Thank you to all you "grown ups" out there that were helpful with your many posts. But this nerd needs to take cover again. It appears the "cool kids" are back from smoking in the boys room.

You might be happier with something newer featuring an extended warranty. Winnebago is highly recommended.

These are the responses we'd expect to see on Facebook. You want come here and throw attitude and disrespect the very people that made all this possible for free? What do you expect?

Wanderlodge's were the best RV's ever made in their day, there was nothing that could touch them. If you want to compare them to modern day sticks and staples then you obviously don't appreciate what they are.

If you are not happy with the features and options available on a 43 year old coach then look at newer ones that are all air, >400hp, tag axles, dual inverters, etc... You won't see a 43 year old Winnebago on the road and I don't think you're going to find the perfect combination of features at a price point you'd be happy with?

There are over 4,000 members here that will give you support you'll never find anywhere else. This forum is more like family than just a group of old farts that know a lot. The combined knowledge of the Wanderlodge owners on this forum is priceless and deserves a little respect. IMHO

If you need more help deciding on a coach to look for then check out my "Select-a-Bus". It's very basic but maybe you're not looking at the right models to fulfil your needs?

It's interesting to me that a guy who evidently understands very little about heavy vehicles and less about a Wanderlodge insists on slamming the very people who will help him FREE OF CHARGE. I just don't get it

Whoa, what happened? Please consider that it's difficult to interpret social interaction through a box of text, and that there's a large disconnect between what someone may intend to imply and how it is inferred by others. There's no benefit to assuming malice in a post, and no value to escalation in a response.

I was enjoying learning about Wanderlodge history; keep the discussion, questions and answers coming.

XV was a transitional vehicle, from FC to PT.
