Please clarify, they do not have them or they do not know about them?

I think he is saying is the generator rotor spinning with the engine? Did it come uncoupled?Seems to be a long shot but suppose it could happen.

That’s Code for “ This Maybe Something to look at”.

I believe it’s referring to the Keyway and/or Coupler Connection from Generater Head to Engine.

You never did say, you may not even know if Head is Spinning.

Thanks for the carification.
You're right I don't know that it's turning and short of crawling up under there and removing the back plate I don't know how I would check

On a Powertech and others, theres like 6 bolts holding a flexplate to the flywheel.
No key or coupler that can come apart.
well maybe it could, but not likely.

Hi Jeff, I had this conversation with them a year ago. They do not make a pancake generator end. My coach does not have the space to convert to a larger unit so pancake is the only option, so Powertech to the rescue. Some generator compartments may have the space. Flex plate SAE needs to be known so it can be matched up. Mid Georgia Generator can save you money if you can make it work.

Thanks Crit, good information to know for those FC folks.
I just wanted to clarify this as they are a great resource for knowledge and Tom will help you no matter if he has anything to sell to you. I know that they make and sell many of their units to the entertainer coach folks and I guess they have the room for a larger generator.
