Default Going to see a 89 SP36!!

Traveling to AZ to look at the Corgi Adventures bus. Thinking to have tires and bus inspected for safety before driving it home via Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta if all goes right. Does anyone know of a service place in the Quartzsite/Phoenix area? Any tips of what to look for?
opinions welcome!!

Stay away from that bus. There is lots of info on this forum going back a few years. It has been for sale for years. Besides he does not like WOG.

Seconded - while the ZF Ecomat trans has its issues this coach has a wacky Allison conversion that has been no end of trouble for the non tech savvy owner. I read everything on this coach before I bought mine. Who knows what else...

Why not do a search in the Google Custom Search Bar above for Corgi's Adventure. Read the threads from members here and David before David decided he had better relations with folks that didnt know anything about his coach.

Tom, I looked at this bus when it was in Albuquerque for a fellow in Florida, about 12-18 months ago. I would stay away from it. I wouldn't buy it at any price.

It popped up somewhere on Facebook this morning and then just as quickly disappeared. I was going to share it in this forum.

Tom, the right option will present itself! That coach is a little tempting as it is cosmetically decent and the stated miles/hours are right... but the gotchas trump it.

I have just now received a nasty telephone call from the man selling the coach "Corgi's Adventures" who accused me of costing him a buyer.

My opinion as written above and what I said to him in reply by phone stated that I reviewed his ad, the various threads concerning his transmission conversion and his apparent lack of technical knowledge about it and passed on his coach myself, as it appeared on initial review of available photos to be a nice SP.

It further appears clear to me that I am in the majority of those with an opinion that those looking to make a good purchase should pass. The seller's rather threatening attitude to me on the phone reinforced that! Finis.
