Default Telephone Intercom

I have just removed two of the beige telephone intercom sets from my FC. Wife ordered them removed, because if we need to talk to each other we just yell, (sometimes face to face).

Anyway, before they go in the dumpster, I thought I owed it to you guys to at least post that they are available. Pay the postage and they are yours. I would also send the control unit if I knew what it looked like or where it was. As far as I know these are/were still working, when I bought the coach, but since they were never used, I really don't know for sure.

I can send pictures if you're interested. Send me a PM here, or a regular email and we can work out the details.

Tnx.

SOLD... Or GONE. I never expected this much interest but I have three people already wanting them. I'll work through them in time-stamp order.

Thanks for the interest. In these days of cell phones, I just never thought anyone would want them. WOG never ceases to amaze me.

John, the wall mounted telephones in my coach are one of the tour highlights when I have visitors - along with the Nutone Food Center and electric drapes. The musical doorbell ranks right up there as well. The musical horns would if I ever get that system working.

Some kids these days have never seen a telephone mounted on a wall with wires going to it and also with a handset connected by a cord, they are surprised that at one time, it was necessary to push buttons to dial a number, I don't even mention the rotary dial!

While the technology in these early 80's coaches are normal for us, it's a trip back in time for the neighbor kids. I told my neighbors teenage boy once about the airplanes I worked on back in the 70's that had only hydromechanical engine controls, not a wire in the entire outboard nacelles except for the p-lead. He was astounded.
