Zymol Battery Case Creme #4, but only if the ambient temperature is above 77 degrees. Remove lugs, tape and secure accordingly. To be completed quarterly. Zymol Chief Engineer available at +49 30 901820

The Tecma Silence Plus macerator toilet marketed by Thetford in this country was designed and built in Italy for yachts. It is first class. Unfortunately it costs about $1,200, so it was four years of dinking around with the Microphor before I finally "had it up to here" and sprung for one.

It will send macerated effluent way further than we need. It has buttons for normal flush, or a larger flush when needed. It also has two capacitive strips that are applied to your black tank at 1/2 and at full, that indicate at the switch what you need to know. If you forget to check the tanks, this is very handy, since you see the light each time it is flushes. The macerating function gets rid of any clogging paper, etc. It seems to use a little more water than the Microphor, but the water level is adjustable.

It takes a 30 amp breaker and some 10 gauge wires, but fear not, it only runs for two seconds.

Should you choose to get one, inspect before accepting. For us Amazon went through three to get one that had not been smashed in shipment. In the end, it is a fine addition to a fine bus.
