Default wiper mtr repair

boy this is anot a good job using mirrors and trying to take off clips and hidden screws

i have a rt hand mtr that smoked because the arm fell off and jambed the mtr

i cannot find a switch that turns off the rt hand like the old bus

so to get to the mtr you have to take the cover off the side by the pass seat down low and remove all the ft screws off that panel then remove the ac vent hoses..

the mtr is above all the heater stuff.....and you cannot access it from the ft cover......

this has a small arm with 2 plastic bushings that 1 was gone...so the arm knocked off the clip and jumped an hung under the ww wiper mtrs arm....

calling for a replacement part now

!

Can you adjust the distance the blades travel. 1996 BBWB. Wiper blades go about 6inches beyond the window.

6''?
Some of us guys were talking about that a few months back, the wiper arms get worn out at the pivots and let the blades flop and go too far.
New arms will fix it,or did in my case but what we also did was change to a shorter blade.
Using a shorter blade saves wear and tear on the arms and the motor and i did not notice the shorter blade being a problem to my eyes in the ran.

But 6'' is a bit far,you may have worn out bushings or something else in the wiper motor and transmission area.
