Default Posting and Pictures with an Android and other Smart Phone and devices

Recently while I was ay the Clearwater Rallly I took some photos with my phone. I was able to read and post to the forum with my phone but not able to post any pictures. I could get as far as the part on the forum where it asks you to choose a file for the picture. Then it was like the phone didn't know where to look for its photos. Has anybody been able to post photos to the forum from their Android smart phone? If so can you explain how you did it?

I don't see how to directly download pics from the phone to WOG - maybe there's an app? I can upload and download from my phone to my computer. I like iPhoto to crop and export the pics then download to WOG. Also like to upload pics onto the phone. The phone looks like another drive to the computer using a USB cable.

I was able to create this post and upload the picture on my Galaxy S3 Android phone. The browser I use is called Google Chrome. The procedure is the same as on a computer.

I had the same experience Tom but didn't try very hard to figure it out. Mine is an older HTC Incredible Droid.

Maybe that's my problem also, phone too old. I have the HTC EVO. It seems like I can post ok, just can't seem to get it to look in the correct place to attach a photo.

Try the Chrome browser if you haven't.

These are the steps I used to upload pictures (see pictures). This was on a newer Samsung Galaxy S3, running the newest Android operating system. The phone I had before this was an HTC Incredible, and I think Chrome worked the same on that phone, too. But I would recommend downloading Chrome from the app store and using it instead of the internet app that comes with phone, it seems more versatile. You can see the icon in the first picture, it is on the right side, about halfway down on my home screen.

Thanks for the info!

Chrome is a free download but it requires Android 4.0 which my phone doesn't support. I'm guessing it's because the older OS won't let you access the SD card online (?) Yet another reason to upgrade to iPhone 5.
