So here is what I did
Got a new bowl off evil bay for $18
Then got a later model water pick up that mounts in the bottom of the new bowl
Then drilled a hole and taped in the filter aluminum body
For the heater if you don’t have a heater then you will not need to drill
To clarify the bowl I got was a replacement one and I got it from aliexpress
So if you are worried get one form Parker there $50 Then you can eliminate the pins
Racor changed there design for a reason but it all good just tying to pass on 40 plus years of fleet maintenance 20 of that was on a fleet of blue birds

Randy,
When I looked at it closely I thought the same thing, that it should be replaced. But I'm having a hard time finding the exact replacement bowl with the contacts for the water level and heater.
Do you have a source or part number?
Thanks,
Pete

You have to buy the water sensor separately. And the heater is in the side of the racor body, not the bowl.

Jim
Appreciate the info. If Randy can provide the original style part I would just go with that. If not I'll maybe try your fix. I'll probably have some more questions about what heater and water monitor you used if I do the mods.
Thanks

No,no numbers.
I'm not a big fan of all those probes and heaters in the fuel filter.
When i replace a bowl its one without all those extras.
