I think your PT and Ted Teague's are the same year. He is having trouble with his valve and wants to resolve it. We need to talk, KC.

I tried the near the heat exchanger trick. That is where I would have expects to find it also. Wire ties come out tomorrow. Well update. Thanks

I spoke with Ted back when he first got his coach. He called me about windows. Not about this issue. Is he a Texas guy? Can't remember

Mark, I've got the summer / winter switch too, must be an '89 thing - I didn't see an electric valve on Sam's 1990 schematic. If this shuts off all heaters to the engine coolant flow as the operator's manual mentions, I would think the valve is somewhere back by the water heater, or near the engine.
