Default wiper delay adjustment

I don't remember if I put this in a post or not, but here it is again?

I like the intermittent wipers on my '83 FC, but the timing seemed too long. By mistake and dumb luck I discovered that if I pressed the 'on' side of the switch several times in a row, it shortened the cycle time. So the cycle time can be adjusted by the number of times you press the 'on' side of the switch. Try it next time it rains..

Hey Gardner,

Its interesting how you just happened to come up with this one. Last year you discovered and taught me that the accessory switch controls which spotlight the joy stick moves. Now this with the wipers....keep it up, I'm learning vicariously through you.

I'm curious, just how much time do you spend in that drivers seat when she is parked? (it's ok, I do it too

Thanks, Bill

Randy,
Yup. just hold the start switch in the stop position (right?).
The diesel/gas switch is for the FC's that have a gas generator. It switches the fuel guage between diesel and gas. I have one on my 35 footer that has a diesel generator. I guess it is a non-functional switch.

Bill,
When I get bored driving I push buttons!!!!

Default wiper delay adjustment

Interesting, all:

I spend a lot of time just sitting in the driver's seat. Did the same thing in an airplane when I first started flying.

I did not know until one rainey day a week or so, depressing the stop gen button would heat the genny glow plugs. Before this "discovery" I thought you had to go oustide to the genny compartment to depress the glow plug switch. I know now you can do it from the drivers seat, galley and the bedroom.

Now if I could just figure out my mystery switch (accessory) that seemingly does nothing, I'd be happier. Hmmm, do I have a diesel/gas switch?

For the new owner (that's me) these beasts are like Christmas morning, presents opening sometimes.

Tommy, which accessory switch are you talking about?
the one by the passenger seat turns on the outside light above the power cord bay on the drivers side.
