I’m with you, Randy. I adore my grands, for about 45 minutes.

Wow I’m sorry!
In my word they the only reason to
Live
Can’t expect the schools and world to teach them what they really need it know
Buses cars airplanes are just things
Might want it rethink your prioritys
This is really a subject you don’t want to promote with me
Please let it go
And I’m sorry for even bringing it up

I don't think you understand what we are saying. We all thought the same thing when we were your age. I didn't want my wife working until the kids were in school, because I didn't want someone else to raise my kids. So that brings me to the subject of my grand and great grandkids. Likewise I am not gong to "raise them" either. That is up to my kids and grandkids to handle. It all boils down to a huge age difference between us and you. Nothing more nothing less. My kids were my "priority" and still are now, but in a much different way. I love all of them and want nothing but the best for them, but it is no longer my responsibility. So we hope we have not offended you. I don't think any of us gave it a thought as to your possible younger age and different look at things, that most of us have long passed by. There was no offense intended with any of the comments.

How old you think I am?
My kids are forty something got three grand kids
Been retired for awhile
I understand it was not meant to offend and I’m sorry for the harsh response
I just can’t get enough of my grandkids
The wife now that’s a different story
( hope she’s not reading this)
I’m alway in a sour mode after reading the news for the day
Definitely need to stop

Jim I really don't have a clue, but I do believe I and many others here are older and that probably really isn't the point. The point is we all have different ideas of what we think is the proper relationship with family of any generation. I won't be critical of your view and please don't be critical of mine. Enough said on the subject and hope to see you at a rally sometime.

Some of my best stories involve my son, grandkids, and the bus. By the way, my son hates it, but loves me enough to tolerate my interruptions to his business when I'm moving it in or out or servicing it.

He even bought me a T-shirt that reads " I'm sorry for what I said when we were parking the bus".

I told him I am going to leave t to him in my will, never to be sold.

Payback is a B___tch.
