Default Refurb Per Lux lights

I got tired of looking at the rust inside the driving lights so I refurbished the passenger side Per Lux Driving light. It is mounted inside the bumper just below the rubber foot step. I cleaned the rust off the shade assembly and painted it with flat black Rustoleum. I polished up the stainless exterior as well.
The sealed beam light has 4 rubber pads where it seats in the case. They were hard and brittle. I substituted small O rings of similar thickness held in place with double sided tape. It seemed to work well allowing the assembly to seat well and hold position.

The left one has a rock hole with cracks in the outside lens so I ordered a new lens and will refurbish it when the lens arrives. At that time I will get some pics.

I am trying to use the time we will be stationary to attend to some of these little things that make a big difference when you look closely. My coach has had a very protected life, but I am racking up the miles so need to keep up a best I can.

Oh Yea, I parked next to Shane at Q!!!

Of course you can't see the shiny stainless without crawling under the bus

But the rock hole in the lens is gone

I treated the rubber with silicone, but it soaked in pretty fast.
