I know that i had read the thread that Pete Haggins started, but had forgotten all about it.
John W brought it back to my attention, and I'm sure hes looked through the prints to see if it was possible! I think i'll un-hook my DRL module!

Poke back at my posts on this thread ( #14, the one with the pictures, especially) and see where the energize wire to the big front coil is running. It's more that than the DRL, although I think the DRL pulls a lot of current that perhaps wasn't considered when the original wiring design was done. I'm guessing DRL came a long after the first WBs and I suspect LX/LXI/WB wiring is very similar.
You only need to have this happen to you once on a narrow two lane road with no shoulders, on a pitch black night, at 60 mph to want to fix it once and forever. (Speaking from experience). Ours has been AOK since I re ran the one wire indicated from the ignition. You really can't predict the loads in these coaches at any given point in time. One little thing kicks in, and all of a sudden that wire doesn't have enough juice to keep that solenoid flowing current, and then EVERYTHING DIES.

In my case my DRL module overheated to the point that the plastic casing on the modules 15 amp mini fuse melted. Using my headlights would draw too much power and this would cancell out jake brake and cause propane detector to sound off. Randy found me a source for new module and Pete put it in exchanging one wire at a time.
