Default 375K Miles

Just curious: What is the mileage on your Bird?

My “new to me” Bird has 375K on the chassis.

Can anyone match that mileage?

I am only the second owner (you can take a look at “sold section” on BBBB to see the coach, it’s the blue ‘91 SP). The PO put 375K on it. Wow—just imagine that...I know there must be a lot of stories...

Yep, it’s on it’s second engine, and, obviously, a lot of “parts” have been replaced. It was kept in a garage since 1994–that is a BIG part of the story. And, it was obviously maintained well (Parliament, Josams, etc.)

This coach is in excellent condition (95% of the systems work as designed). That is a testament to the PO being committed to “being on the road, not in the garage”.

IF anyone out there is “curious” about the quality of the Wanderlodge chassis, this example may help you make a conclusion.

WHY? would anyone buy a coach with 375K miles on it? It’s a Wanderlodge.

So, how many miles do you have on your Wanderlodge?

Very cool, ours has 111k on it now. With any luck we’ll have it for several decades. Hopefully they’ll make diesel for that long.

Don't exaggerate! It's has a cool even 1 million miles, I think? Likely take 1000 years to get it's next million. It has the share the only driver with a Monaco and a Freightliner!

I still have 99,625 miles on it. I disconnected the speedo when I bought it to keep the mileage low and just use my GPS.
