Who knew carpet was so polarizing? I'm going searching for carpet this weekend and see what I can come up with.

I replaced the carpet in my coach, going on 3plus years now. I put in carpet tiles, I was trying to get it done quick and didn't want to take the time to bid out the job. I purchased tile at Menards, if you want to see a pic or know the brand let me know. I have now found a installer who has installed carpet in my house. I had home look at the coach and bid it when he was here, it comes out cheaper with regular carpet not tile. If you want some nice your not that far I can give you his number. He's on N side of Chicago you may have to come down the get a bid.
I went to school up near you many many moons ago, good times on the lake.

Some people still like carpet. We replaced the carpet in our FC and really liked it. http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.co...hp?albumid=619 Our PT already had wood floors from hall forward.

Great job on the carpeting. That looks just like what I'd like to do.

Nice job for sure, looks good.

Did the installer use tack strip on the floor or glue. When I ripped out my old stuff it was tacked and stapled down, and glued on the cat house and other vertical surfaces.

Ours was stapled down as well. We only used tack strips on the floors. Glue on the vertical surfaces plus staples on steps, beds, and dinette booths. Dog house is glued on and he used the old carpet as a pattern to cut it out. Also, we put slits in the carpet over the doghouse bolts and kept the tack strips clear of the flange.
