Default Randy has an Oops

Some of you have noticed by now our KOW is missing in action so far today. Well he had a bit of a problem yesterday. While greasing his Coach his grease gun clogged up. He increased the air pressure to the gun and while testing its operation shot himself in the right hand with chassis grease. Not a good thing at all! The grease travel from the base of his center right hand finger to the second knuckle. Randy is a tough guy and knew this was not good so he squeezed the grease back out, put a patch on it and finished servicing his Coach. Last night his hand started swelling and I'm sure he was in a lot of pain. Carol took him to the Bainbridge ER and from there they went to Tallahassee where surgery was performed at 3 AM today. They think all will be OK and the damage to his hand will mend. Randy my be able to post latter today but we need to let him rest. He will let us know when we can call him to get the rest of the story.

This is a lesson for all of us. A grease gun can be very dangerous as well as many of the tools we use often. Ensure you know what can happen and be ready. This was a simple mistake from one of the most knowledgeable of Gear Heads. Who would have thought a simple twist of the pressure regulator would cause an ER visit and then Surgery.
