Default Safe-T-Plus Steering Control, Steering Stabilizer

I've read a lot of great reviews on this forum about this steering stabilizer.
However on my coach this device has now broken twice.
My mechanic tells me some people do not like it and it drives better without it. Can someone tell me any downsides to having the stabilizer? Has anyone had a front tire blow out and it saved their life? Anyone else had any trouble wit this stabilizer? Thanks!

what broke on it?
they warranty their products, have you contacted them?
Did the bracket break or the shock thing itself?

If you have a terrible driving coach the S-T-Pus may not fix your problem.
You can't just install one and think the world will be a better place.
It will not cure cancer!
If you have bad tires the S-T-plus will not stop them from blowing out.
You see where i'm going here?
We need more info.

When you have 2 failures of a well known part then you may not have a bad part.

You may have a bad install or a curb may have been in the way,we need more info.

Thank you Randy and Carmine. It was the bracket that broke. My steering has never been bad and I cannot tell any difference in the driving without it but I haven't taken it on long trips yet. I did call the manufacturer and they never returned my call of over 1 week ago. So today I emailed them for help. I've decided to replace it but just wondered if anyone else liked it better without it and if so why?
