Most of my issue was headlights were waaaay out of adjustment. Like they hit the ground twenty feet in front of the BMC. With the polishing of the lenses, installation of UltraStar bulbs, and good adjustment they are livable now.
Next step is new housings from RockAuto.com. I think they were $42 each last time I checked.

Guys, I am going over to help CowDoc with his lights. He has new lights from RockAuto and has them mounted but the adjustments are apparently WAY off. I haven't seen or touched yet but am posting for pointers. Anyone have suggestions from experience as to how to approach the alignment. I know there are adjustment screws but it sounds like more might be required.
Thoughts, advice, sympathy all appreciated. Heck Man

there should only be 2 adjusters 1 for up down and 1 for side to side
if you look on the web you can find the charts or diagrams for aiming the head lights you need to able to park the coach on the level 25 feet from a wall and follow the instructions

Can this get posted somewhere with a Sticky other than BMC issues? My 90WB has the same problem, sucky headlights! I really like the idea of a relay that ties them all together!

I guess I'll crawl under Mauvelous this morning and check out the lights.
I need to see what the driving lights do anyway...

Ok, Back to CowDoc's BMC we got the rockauto lights installed and adjusted. BIG improvement. Note we had to use the original mounts and remove the adjustment mechanisms from the new stuff provided by rock auto. The BMC adjustments seemed to be completely frozen that may not be on all of them but just a heads up.
NOW question. The low beams turn off when you ask for high beams. That seems counter productive to our need for more light. This typical of other BMC's I would assume and would it hurt changing so that the lows were on all the time? Also, how would you electricians suggest accomplishing this? At the high low switch on the steering column or at the lights? And what specifically would you do. Remember only thing I know about electricity is that it hurts if you stick your finger in the socket while picking your nose. But I do have a meter and a wire stripper and some extra wire laying around that I'd like to use.

John check post five of this thread regarding the high beam question. I use the driving lights to fill in for the low beams turning off. The driving lights on mine only work with the high beams and they work well once adjusted correctly. Otherwise you could do a relay upgrade to leave the low beams on. There is another solution listed in the link.
Just curious about the replacements you bought from RockAuto. Were they the OEM style or were they a different style of lens and reflector?
