turns out mine doesn't have any adjustment. the rod has a loop at both ends. or maybe i'm looking at the wrong adjustment rods. i did disconnect the right rear rod at the bottom and worked it up and down, it's connected to a lever to what i suppose is the valve (can't see over the top of that airbag). it works smoothly up and down. later today i'm going to take some pics.

Mine are not adjustable either, that is a good thing because they can't go out of adjustment. Replacement of bags will not solve a leaning bus, you either have a bad hcv or your panhard rod bushings are shot.

The hcv rods could be bent by road debris

If you are referring to the adjustment rods not being adjustable, there is also another adjustment on the arm if they are the Haldex style height control valve. It isn't the easiest to reach but it can be done, I had to use that adjustment last year.

Good call, John, but what I am referring to are the rods, mine are fixed with no adjustments, the valve arms are a different matter

in the event i'm lacking adjustment screws as well as rods i'll just get prepared to install a new hcv on the back left. i think i've narrowed it down to that one being bad. the left rear is 10.5" and the right front is 5.5". the right rear is a little under 8 and the front left is about 8.5. those are close enough to 8 to lead me to believe the issue is in the back left valve. anyone know the part# for the valve- or is it something i need to take off and take down to the International House or NAPA? i'm not in that big of a hurry- would be willing to wait a few days for one off ebay if i knew what to buy.

Finn has the part number 90054007, but search ebay for best price
any of the following numbers will fit, just use the original fittings.
Most everyone will need three of these valves, replace if original, your Bird will love you & hold air much longer.
The additional Blue part in Finn's picture is a dump valve and probably not needed in a Bird application.

Dump Valves
90054007
90054007 Type CR - Controlled Response Height Control Valve 1/4”
90554114 Type CR - Controlled Response Height Control Valve No Fittings
90554183 Type CR - Controlled Response Height Control Valve 3/8”
90554334 Type CR - Controlled Response Height Control Valve with Dump Valve 1/4” & 3/8”
90554648 Type CR - Controlled Response Height Control Valve with Dump Valve 1/4” & 3/8”
90054007P20 Type CR - Controlled Response Height Control Valve - 20 Units 1/4”
