dumb question, probably- what's the deal with the "no fittings" and do i need fittings or should i get fittings or not??

I agree that would normally be the case, but a few months ago I had to adjust out a lean to the left. After replacing the last of the old air bags the other day, I had a lean to the right. Had to go back under and take out the adjustment I had made earlier.

I would suspect that old air bags have weak sidewalls,well,weaker than new air bags.

Plus,who knows if the new bags fabric is the same as the old bags fabric?
More ply's,less ply's, the endless evolution of rubber products etc.

Interesting stuff..

More ply's,less ply's, the endless evolution of rubber products etc.

The new ones are definitely stiffer. The old ones could easily be compressed by hand to remove them, but the new ones were so stiff I had to raise the bus to get them in.

Regardless of material, the rear ride height valves should level the coach.

Thats true,they measure height,not pressure.

my new valves should be delivered today- of course it decided to rain. Got them off eBay, $45 and free shipping- the guy has several available if anyone else needs some.
