When the weather warmed up a little, David went through every system on the Blue Bird and made sure it was ok.

He replaced belts, the water heater heating element and all the gas charged struts for every one of the compartment doors. He replaced the batteries, the headlight assembly, the shower valve (which was a bear!). He rebuilt the air dryer and replaced the air hose. He balanced the electrical load in the breaker box and made a battery combining switch with the help of the kind Shane Fedeli. He said he did nothing noteworthy or out of the ordinary. An owner just does these things. This was actually a very short list of the things a coach owner has to do with a new Blue Bird. Ours was in very good shape.

David filled up the water tank to see if it leaked. Sure enough, he found a pipe at a low point in the outside water compartment that was cracked, so he fixed that. The washing machine plumbing was also cracked inside, so he capped it. We don't take long trips yet, so we don't need the washer.

Someone sent me a message that the episodes are too long, so I'm going to try very hard to keep it shorter from now on. Let me know what you think!

I like the long version stories. Easy enough to skip or skim for those not interested.

While it is certainly a fact that SOME people have the attention span of a fruit fly, here on OUR planet we enjoy reading all of your rich posts Dawn!

Keep the stories going. If "someone" gets tired reading they can go to the next thread. No rules about having to read all of every post.

I think the plot is good but the movie lacks gratuitous sex and violence .

It's always interesting to learn that others have had similar experiences with their Bluebird! Keep up the narrative please...

The Blue Bird Tails is going to be taking a break for the month of December. It's a busy time and I'm having a tough time finding a chunk of time to write. In the meantime, we want to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a wonderful and safe New Year! See you next year!
