Default Hillside camping

At the Iowa State Fair they have RV camping. The waiting list for a site is near 10 years. They give preference to anyone who has camped during the fair previously so it is kind of like grandfathered sites.

Nice level spots, can you say CHOCKS I would like to know how they got those 5th wheels there in the first place. Must be tough if it rains!!!!

I can't help when I see crowded situations...either people, cars or RV's...I think of emergency vehicle access and emergency person evacuation.

Photos can distort the distance between objects & open spaces...but "what if"...a fire, a violent storm, a ongoing criminal action...How do you get in and out of there with various equipment quickly?

Some venues and events grow to such sizes that they become "too big"...many can go years without a problem...but when the "stuff" hits the fan...what a nightmare!

Just thinking about all those propane tanks, the fuel in the RV's...oh man!

I agree. If only one of those RV's starts to slide the whole thing will collapse like a bunch of dominos. And we have seen the kinds of precautions some of those folks take
