Default Rotate drivers seat

On my 2001 LX the drivers seat will not spin around because the left side seat belt spool hits the side of the wall. Short of removing the seat belt or notching out the bumped out portion of the wall (beneath the HWH leveling control) has anyone done anything different?

slide your seat fully forward and tip the front down. Should give you enough room.

Well that may not work since the seat belt is not mounted on the seat but instead on the swivel platform.

Different year but mine will rotate.

Thanks for the suggestion, I Just went out and tried it but no luck. The part of the belt mechanism that hits the wall is mounted to the seat base, not the seat itself. So moving the seat doesn't make a difference with the belt spool.
I guess the base of the seat was just secured to the floor about 1" too close to the wall.
Taking the time to move the seat over is way down on my priority list.

I've never been able to rotate mine either. It is mounted tight to the wood side panel. Cam's 2000 LX, previously owned by Pete, has a bit smaller seat it looks like. It spins around easily. So, there may be more than one size seat installed in these LX coaches.

Thanks John, I'm glad I'm not the only one that has this issue. When I figure out a solution I'll let you know.

Take the seat belt off the arm. Drill a hole in the floor- you will be going thru that steel plate. Mount it with a long grade 8 bolt, washers and nut-
