And since the bedroom is still dismantled until he replaces the leaking HWH valves....I am determined to sleep in my bus...so the sofa is now a bed.

Well, after driving our first bus to it's new owner, we realized our new bus is noticeably slower...with the same engine and turbo. Since we have the 12R's, we are thinking the Allison may need to have the shift points adjusted for the bigger tires. Yes, the rear end has slightly different gears but it is still quite a bit slower at the light than the other bus.
Scotty, we need more power!

We also went to change the toilet out, should be a simple task, right? 3 trips to the hardware store later and it's finally in place. The copper line had to be replaced and the supply to the toilet of course was a funky RV size that took a bit of fussing with but we got it to work. He also may have solved the leaking hot water heater valve. It was slightly unscrewed from the brass elbow going into the HW tank. Tightened it up and will try it out in a few days, when I have another day off.

You have a higher rearend ratio, and bigger tires.
And you have a small HP engine and a heavy bus.
Get used to being slow off the line, when you trade road speed for starting speed, this is what happens.

We would agree with all of that, plus the 82 now has a 4" exhaust with no muffler...but he still isn't sure it's getting the correct boost off the engine and turbo. Will be testing that plus having the Allison adjusted to the larger tires.

Spent the afternoon removing and cleaning/ polishing the outside storage bay lights and replacing the old hot bulbs with cool LED bulbs. Boy that old chrome shines up soooo nice. Only have a few bays that need attention as the lights aren't working. She's coming together.

The old gal, Sandy Belle came home once again, so we are now babysitting our old bird for her new owner as he is out of town and we didn't think she would be safe in out local Walmart left unattended for 4 days.

Well we found out why the radio does work in the new bus....the face plate has one messed up attachment point so it flops out unexpectedly on ya. So we dropped it to look at the issue and noticed all of the wires have been pulled from the radio . I am sure this is due to the attachment point issue. So now we will go through the task of stripping and crimping the wires back together and see where we are. I still want to install satellite radio in the coach. I MUST have my music.

Also the speakers have the wires disconnected. Odd....

I come home and he has the Racor all disassembled. This might explain some of it's sluggishness.

And a bit of the gunk he scraped out:

And the paper filter:
