Ravaged in the Oregon wildfires? Looks to me like only the bus burned down. The trees, the car in the background as well as the site marker post look fine.

These fires can do strange things . I've seen many times where something didn't burn and all you can do is scratch your head and wonder . Most likely the car in the background wasn't there during the fire . The coach may have had embers blown into or under it by the wind . Lots of houses burn in these fires by blowing embers . The house will be destroyed , but vegetation and items in the yard are fine .

Very sorry for the losses being endured by these fires and storms . Coaches and houses can be replaced , lives are precious and irreplaceable .

Default looks genuine

Not trying to stir up any argument, but...

Looks genuine to me. Been to fire sites as part of my old job. That's what it looks like. Very unfortunate.

Prayers for those in harm's way.

I don't know if the text came through but I wasn't posting this lightly.

This was the text from Laurie Rockman:

To day we received some very sad news from Pappy...we sold him our 1980 33' FC. It was ravaged in one of the Oregon wild fires. He sent us this photo. We bought it in 2001 from a fellow in AZ...Called her Kantaffordaranch. We named her Trigger and sold it in 2012 to this fellow. He called her Roam Sweet Roam. It could have been the propane tank...but all the windows were blown out.
Our sympathy to all campers that have gone through this horror. This was his only home.

Many are affected by the fire events. In my back yard today at about 1 pm the sun broke through the heavy smoke layer for the first time since maybe Tuesday or Wednesday.

The winds have been almost nil here for 3 days. Thankfully.

We gotta keep looking "up". This too shall pass and the future is bright.

I love the WOG group.

Talked with a friend in Oregon yesterday who had to disconnect their smoke alarms because the smoke inside, even with all windows and doors closed, kept setting them off. Can’t imagine breathing in this stuff day after day after day.

This is our house and what it’s looked like since last Tuesday when the local fire started, now it’s out (thankfully, we were fortunate) and the smoke from OR and CA rolled in, no change. Tired of the smoke, but so much more fortunate than the people down south that lost so much.

So happy to have the bus, loaded and ready to bug out at a moments notice.
