Uh, looking for airbags and shock absorbers for a 1988 WB40:
Michigan Truck Springs can't seem to cross reference and/or have in stock Firestone airbags! Anyone have a vendor for Goodyear airbags? These are what were posted back on 2015 but I'm not having any luck..... Front Air Bags - Part number FAW013589448 Drive Axle Air Bags - Part number RL90390 Tag Axle Air Bags - Part number 1R11018 As for KONI shocks? Anyone know part numbers?

Well, it seems like this is not going to be an easy task finding these airbags! I called SD Trucksprings and the guy I talked with wasn't much help....

Those numbers look like a mix of firestone and goodyear. And then I don't know what a 3589458 is. Is that a typo? The following is what I recently ordered from sdtruckspring for my 1991WLWB. they all were identical and perfect fit to the factory bags. You should double check that they are the proper bags for a 1988. Hopefully this helps...
4 x Firestone Airide Replacement Air Spring - w01-358-9457 (w01-358-9457) 4 x Firestone Airide Replacement Air Spring - w01-358-9039 (w01-358-9039) 2 x Firestone Airide Replacement Air Spring - w01-358-9073 (w01-358-9073)

The numbers I posted all show up fine on their website. However as I mentioned, I'm not positive they are the same as your '88.

You are correct. I was the one that typo-ed it when I searched. W01-358-9448 and W01358-9457 are identical in all respects EXCEPT that the bolts on the piston plate are rotated 45 degrees. So there may be differences between the years. However I think you can loosen the center bolt and rotate the piston plate if needed. So maybe the subtle part differences and just a custom ordered configuration. You can just look at your top and bottom bolts to see if they are aligned or not to figure out which one to order.
And notice that the drive bags both have a 9039 number in them. And the tag bag 358-9073 crosses to the 1R11-018

Michael,
My '91 WB front shocks are Koni #902497SPI, the Tag takes a Gabriel #T9032B, or a Monroe #65421. I don't have the drive axle number on my sheet. ![]()

1997 WB41 without a liftable tag axle
Shocks Front 90-1968 I ordered Koni's with the P part number. One thing to note, the Poly bushings are much narrower than the metal sleeve in the factory rubber bushed shocks. I had to use 1 additional washer on each side of the shock to keep the bushing compressed. Without it the shock was dreadfully loose and the poly lock nut bottomed out on the collar behind the threads. Both Drive and Tag axle shocks have Blue Bird engraved in the shocks outer sleeve. Originals at 143K miles? Maybe that's why this thing porpoises enthusiastically. Those numbers are as follows Drive 1750793 Below that CE17N3A Tag 1722214 Below That CO987 I was cornfused with all the different numbers posted previously on this thread so I hoped if I pulled the shocks, I would have part numbers that would cross easily. Unfortunately, that is not what I have found so far. Anyone have a cross from the BB numbers to Koni? Thanks, Chris
