Default Bad news that i need to share.

Our good friend from Ca.,Lucas W has terminal cancer.
I don't know what kind of cancer, but none of it is good,so that does not matter.
I just spoke with him on the phone and he agreed for me to post this.

Its pretty much all over his body i guess, and theres lots of pain with it but hes managing that now with meds.
Lucas has been a friend to us all here on WOG with his postings and his friendship.
Hes the guy that tows the little green car on a trailer behind his bus.
(in case some of you have not met him).
He made it over to Ga last Oct and attended the WOG rally and then he came down to the warehouse for a week or so,we all had a grand time and that will always be a great memory for Carol and I.

I am hoping Lucas will be able to manage the pain and i hope those of you that pray will keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Lucas, take care until we meet again.

I'm glad I made it to WOG and the Warehouse last Oct. and finally got to meet Lucas. Lucas we will keep you in our prayers and hope God will see you through this terrible time. Wished we lived closer so I could be of some help, with whatever you might need.

Oh No! Deeply shocked & saddened to hear this news. At this year's Q we all had fun with Luca's stool presentation (HERE @ 6:35 min). For those that don't know him or haven't seen him at a rally, the wealth of knowledge he brings to our group is immense. You can see him doing one of his favorite things (HERE @ 5 min). I'm saying many prayers for you my friend.

Lucas

Thank you for your never ending willingness to give of your knowledge and wisdom, especially electrical, to a brand new newbie. Since purchasing our LXI you have willingly taken so many of my calls, text, and emails related to the projects I have been working on.

I had the honor of meeting you and Mose last July at the Hood River Oregon Rally. You and Mose diagnosed the failed part on the frig of my fathers inlays SOB. It was a thermal coupler and you and Mose whipped up a jump cable for me and had the frig going before my wife arrived a day later. Food was still cold!

It was you and Mose and the others at that Rally that sold me on WOG. What a giving caring group to be part of.

I made it to Pine Mtn last Oct. in the SOB. You and Linda made me feel right at home. Thank you saving me a spot at dinner time for my chair and YELLOW bike. Thank you for sharing your very good wine. You definitely have better taste than I. Pine Mtn was the first time I experienced the tech talks. Thank you for helping Jeff out with his presentation on volt meters. I went out and purchased a good one and it has served me well.

We arrived at Q after dark and who came to be our guide to the BIG circle you did in the lime green Citroen. You said "pull in right behind us we'll find you a spot in the morning". My wife got to meet your lovely wife, Linda, at Q this year. She fell in love with you both and Cisco you miniature guard dog. Thank you again for saving us, my wife is always late, a space at the fire.

Thank you for your call to Randy and allowing us to share in your journey. Jackie and I look forward to stopping by to say hello.

Please stay in touch here on WOG when your energy is up. Your knowledge is a valuable asset and your comments will stay in our records here forever.

Hi Lucas:

Your willingness to share your expertise, wisdom, tips and tricks will live on for future Bluebird owners for posterity. Thank you, Sir. I pray that your days ahead will be comfortable and peaceful. With respect, until next time.

This is the lime green Citroen Lucas and Linda are so well known for. You could sure pick them out in downtown Quartzsite shopping!
