Hey everyone, so I thought I would share the updates and work we have been doing to my FC35RB, there shall hopefully be lots of updating to come here since I will be living in it for the next month or two
![]() First thing was cleaning out the battery compartment and giving it some primer and paint to prevent any further rusting, I hope to replace all the steel in there someday when I get the time. Next thing we did was replace the small, useless, kitchen sink and the leaking faucet. Added a single larger sink that seems to have fit perfectly into the space constraints ![]() Next thing we did was add a much needed "city water". There are two water tanks in the RV, not sure these are original... I guess the original was replaced or is not used anymore? Could anyone tip me off on where the original one WOULD have been if it was present? Or are two separate water tanks, one under each bed, the original tanks for this Bird? Anyway, so there are two external hookups, one to fill each tank, we branched off one and added a check valve and two ball valves (to be replaced later with some electronic valves to make the switch as easy as flipping a switch). To use both valves are closed by default, hook up the water, top valve is to fill the tank, bottom valve is to hook to the cold water line. Then finally while cleaning out the bathroom we decided why not just lay down some new flooring, I barely helped with the flooring since I was busy working, but it came out great! All the photos are in this album: http://imgur.com/a/ZWrqI To do still is to rip ALL the smelly carpet out of the closets in the bathroom and either re-finish the wood if the glue left behind is too rough of a surface, or if I can smooth it down enough I have paint to finish the closets with ![]() More to come...

The fuel sender works fine, drove it over 200 miles and everything seems quite happy. We did cover it up, but we kept holes were the screws are for the steel plate. So IF it ever needs to be done we can cut the tile sections out around those screws and access the panel no problem. It is just stick down tile, so cutting it with a utility knife and a ruler to keep a straight edge would allow you to probably lay the plate back down and only need to fix the little bit of grout torn up. Though hopefully I will never need to do this ![]()

My rear bath has two original fresh water tanks, one under each bed. Both fill from the single water supply inlet.
