Default Porsche enthusiasts here?

I recall a few threads where cars or race tracks have been mentioned - maybe the Brookshires - not 100% sure. So, do any of you enjoy cars in general and/or any German make?

If so, I would like to see your rides...please?

Cracker

Here a story, when I worked for the government I'd go to Germany. Everyone drove Mercedes, even taxis were MB. Only the poor folk drove Audi.
We had an older employee who had been there for nearly 20 years. He was from PA and every few years he'd go home for Christmas to his sister's house. One year after the Christmas dinner, his sister said "George let's go for a ride in my new car". George asked what was her new car and she said a Mercedes. George replied, well **** if I want to ride in a Mercedes I'll go home and call a cab. His sister did not think he was funny.

I'm a Porsche fan Have owned my Callaway Twin Turbo 928 for MANY MANY years. It's got 26k on the clock, goes for drives (blasts) on nice days and lives in my heated garage.

Number 1 son was a driving instructor at Porsche. (We stayed in Chris Henry’s driveway one night. The next day James took us for rides at the Porsche Center.) He now works as a driving instructor at BMW in Spartanburg, SC.
OMG…you would not believe the $….t i had to endure while my husband helped me post this picture……. We do not speak the same language when it comes to computers…..I have no patience!!
Jim and I bought a Porsche when he graduated from college. He states, he came into adulthood (he was 21) with a Porsche and he is leaving adulthood with a Porsche.
Wanderman, when we bought this Porsche, it was a garage queen. I pat her on the hood, frequently, and ask her if she is enjoying seeing the good ole USA?

When I went to Germany for the for the government, I'd see several Porsches on rollbacks and the cars had CA tags. They were going back to the factory refurbish shop in Stuttgart for reconditioning. Over a 4 year period I bet I saw around 100 vehicles heading back to the factory. It would be nice if US manufactures did that. Also back in the 80's Germany had a auto safety law that forbid cars over 10 years old on the streets, because they would not pass their stringent auto safety requirements. All the garage tech would be out on the street at beer break wearing their white coats, I didn't know if they were butchers or doctors, then I found out it was an auto garage.
