On my new 79 FC33, I found in the BlueBox a factory notice recommending removal of the primary battery circuit breaker and the extra 12 master switch at the step area on 1979 FC's. Apparently the factory made an upgrade that did not work out. Affects chassis #'s953444 to 953900. Since the factory paid for owners to have this done, I imagine that most coaches completed it, but if not, I have instructions. I don't think they are paying anymore unfortunately.
Circuit breaker would trip with prolonged cranking and long runs to switch at door created voltage drop.
